Why do we provide all this for free? Because we believe... |
We Believe... The very real presence of evil in the world and the sinfulness of human beings, compounded by rapid shifts in education, industry, technology, and the economy, continue to embroil our planet in massive societal challenges. Individuals and families often feel powerless and even victimized by systems and circumstances over which they perceive they have no control.
Christ came to earth and saved humankind. His ministry continues as one of compassion, liberation, empowerment, and reconciliation. As Christians, we have been called to be His channels of love with its stabilizing and healing influence to others - especially in these times of change and uncertainty. We Believe... As Christians, we serve God by serving others, and our service to others is an extension of His love. |
When all is turbulent about us, the fellowship and service of Christians provide assurance that there is One who sits above the turmoil of this world, who is changeless, and whose purposes will ultimately prevail.
Christians serve as watchmen - urging and empowering individuals and families to:
We Believe... Spiritual renewal transforms lives and impacts society.. |
It was said of the early Christians, ''Here are they that have turned the world upside down.'' Acts 17:6 The gospel of Christ is itself an agent
of change. In the gospel there is compassion for human frailty; but at the same time there is encouragement to form perfect relationships with God and with one another, as was the divine plan at Creation.
We Believe... Christians, through the power of the Holy Spirit, become new creatures Ephesians 4:22-24, that we come out of darkness (error and sin) and into light (truth and righteousness) 1 Peter 2:9, and that we can experience NOW the ever transforming power of God's grace and His will to be done. Hebrews 6:5
Individuals who have experienced spiritual renewal permeate society as salt provides seasoning and as light illuminates darkness. The presence of spiritually renewed persons in the community can do a work that political and social initiatives alone can never accomplish.
Christians who demonstrate and share the transforming power of Christ are strong, stable pillars in society, and they promote life-affirming values. They act as agents of change in the face of moral decay. Their active presence in the community provides hope as individuals and families are ennobled by Christian principles, and in turn, their transformed lives have a positive influence on others around them.

We Believe... The BibleJohn 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. |
Matthew 9:35-38
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore,
to send more workers into His harvest field.”

Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you [to Love God and to Love Others]. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Revelation 14:7-8
Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of his judgment is come, and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water.
